PSM offers comprehensive and flexible Long Term Agreements (LTAs) for 7FA and 501F (SGT6-5000F) turbines. PSM LTAs are designed to optimize our customers' maintenance budget by offering competitive parts life guarantees, minimal parts fallout, coverage during unscheduled inspections, control of inventory and proactive contract management to ensure total coverage.

PSM recognizes that every customer has different needs and we understand that market conditions frequently change. We work with our customers to design a program for their particular situation in terms of scope coverage, risk assumption, duration and payment structure. Our agreements can be structured to include not only the gas turbine, but also the generator, steam turbine and respective auxiliaries.

Engineering makes the difference.
By incorporating PSM engineered parts into our LTAs, we prolong component life and extend the program intervals, eliminating inspections and providing significant cost reductions over the life of the contract. In addition, through our experience with component performance and improvements made to the OEM design and reconditioning process, we are able to reduce the fallout of hot gas parts.

A customized scope of supply.
PSM Long Term Agreements can range from full service offerings to a pricing agreement. Services offered include, but are not limited to:
  • Parts Supply - PSM supplies technologically advanced parts over the life of the agreement and integrates OEM parts (where applicable) currently operating or in the customer's inventory. PSM also supplies the latest durability and performance upgrades over the life of the contract. Available Parts Supply services include the latest technology improvements and upgrades, supply chain management, inventory management, miscellaneous parts kits and operational spares.
  • Parts Reconditioning - PSM provides LTA customers with access to our full scope of reconditioning services including engineering services, state-of-the-art equipment, an inventory of spare and emergency parts, fuel nozzle overhaul including flow testing, a metallurgical lab and more.   • Field Services - PSM offers a fully integrated outage team of highly experienced professionals capable of completing overhauls in a timely, safe, and quality manner.   • Monitoring and Diagnostics - As part of the PSM LTA, engineers at the PSM Monitoring Center in our Florida headquarters monitor customer turbines and overall plant performance 24/7. We use state-of-the-art technology and real-time data to track key performance indicators, provide early warnings of potential issues, analyze the causes and recommend solutions for both immediate fixes and long-term improvement.
