Hanwha Power’s Quality Management System (QMS) is built to ensure the highest levels of reliability, safety, and performance across all our operations. We continuously improve our internal processes to deliver consistent quality, increase customer satisfaction, and remain competitive in the global energy market.

Commitment to Excellence in Every Process
Our QMS applies to all Hanwha Power-owned, operated, or controlled facilities, including contractors and employees involved in the design, engineering, manufacturing, reconditioning, and supply of gas turbine and aircraft components and services. This system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 andAS9100D standards for industrial and aerospace quality assurance, and the company is ITAR registered for defense-related programs.

Scope of Quality System

The QMS covers key areas of our operations in the gas turbine industry, including:

  • Technological development, design, and manufacturing of gas turbine components
  • Spare parts supply, upgrades, repair, planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Remote diagnostics, tuning, engineering assessments, and support services

With the AS9100 certification achieved in 2019, the QMS scope also includes aerospace processes and services:

  • Design and engineering of aircraft components
  • Aerospace manufacturing and repair
  • Spare parts supply for commercial and industrial aviation
  • Hanwha Power is also ITARregistered with the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense TradeControls, enabling the company to handle defense-related aerospace programs andcontrolled technical data.

Advanced In-House Capabilities

Our internal quality processes include:

  • Thermal processing, CNC machining, EDM, welding, and brazing
  • Fluoride ion cleaning, shot peening, vibratory finishing, and NDT inspections
  • Laser cladding, coating, and metallographic analysis

For outsourced activities, Hanwha Power ensures quality through rigorous supplier qualification and contract compliance. We apply our QMS influence wherever possible to maintain consistency and accountability across our extended supply chain.

Hanwha Power operates a 105,000 sq ft facility in Jupiter,Florida with in-house capabilities including thermal processing, CNC machining,electrical discharge machining (EDM), welding and brazing, fluoride ioncleaning (FIC), shot peening, vibratory finishing, non-destructive testing(NDT) inspections, laser cladding, coating application, and metallographicanalysis. All processes are governed by the ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifiedQuality Management System.

Yes.
