Chief Product Officer
Damon Gourdine is Chief Procurement Officer of Hanwha Power. He leads global sourcing, vendor negotiations, and supply chain strategy. With over 18 years of experience, Damon transforms procurement operations to optimize costs and mitigate risks. He has also managed complex Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning, driving internal and external collaboration and growth.
Damon began his career at Primus International as the first external candidate in their Accelerated Leadership Program, rotating through business functions over 18 months. After completing the program, he joined a team focused on accelerated design, development, and delivery (A3D). He then advanced to Director of Procurement at Primus University Swaging Corporation, managing a global supplier network.
After two years as Procurement Director, Damon became the Regional Director of Supply Chain for Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC)'s Aerostructures division. He reshaped the supply chain and procurement, then advanced to Sr. Director of Supply Chain for PCC's Fasteners and Engineered Products division. After three years, he moved to Sr. Director of Supply Chain for PCC's Wyman Gordon division, overseeing all procurement, supply chain strategy, and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning.
