Managing Director
Khalid Oumejjoud is the Managing Director for PSM Thomassen Gulf, a Hanwha Company. He was appointed in July 2021 to manage the group execution center in Abu Dhabi focusing on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He has over 20 years of technical and managerial experience in the power industry and held various roles within the group. Khalid was a leading contributor involved in developing multiple innovations in the aero gas turbine for business aviation and the industrial gas turbine business from the B to H class, including hydrogen premix combustion. Khalid holds numerous patents in gas turbine combustion, operation, tuning and digitalization.
Khalid completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. He is involved with the ASME Power Committee, the Electric Power Advisory Board Committee, and the Turbo Expo Combustion Fuels and Emission, Heat Transfer, and Coal - Biomass & Alternative Fuels committees. He is also a member of the World Utilities Congress Technical Committee.
