PSM offers gas turbine operators a rotor management solution that capitalizes on PSM’s engineering expertise, with full Rotor Service and Rotor Lifetime Extension capabilities that can extend the useful lifetime of your rotor.  Using full 3D steady state and transient analysis models, a portfolio of rotor and blading design upgrades, and a thorough analysis toolset, PSM is able to service Gas Turbine Frames GE & SW/MHI 501F / 7F / 9F, 6B / 7B & E, & 9E.

PSM’s full gas turbine rotor service includes rotor removal, inspection, ship and install, with shop capability to inspect, assemble, repair and balance. PSM’s team provides analysis for Disk Repair approaches and Life Evaluation/Extension, and supplies all required parts including blades, fasteners and disks, many with improvements developed by PSM.  PSM can offer a demonstrated Rotor Repair capability that is an impressive alternative solution to the OEM approach.

PSM’s Rotor Lifetime Extension program uses advancements in computing power, material properties, fracture mechanic methodologies, and inspection techniques that make it possible to assess potential to run gas turbine rotors beyond their original published limits.
